Meor Razak
Meor Razak is a field officer with Sahabat Alam Malaysia. As an environmental activist, he has been involved in several activities to conserve forests and natural areas throughout the country, including the Central Forest Spine, opposing exploration and mega projects that attempt to threaten forests such as forest plantations and mining. Apart from working with Sahabat Alam Malaysia, he is also an advisor to Persatuan Aktivis Sahabat Alam (KUASA) and a committee member of Persatuan Ekologi Perak .
Damien Thanam
Damien Thanam is the President of Pertubuhan Pelindung Khazanah Alam (PEKA). His work includes campaigning for more comprehensive forest conservation and he has spoken out against Malaysian authorities on ineffective conservation policies and weak enforcement of logging laws. Apart from forest conservation, he and PEKA have also been vocal on the issues of recycling and illegal dumping as well as various other environmental issues in Malaysia.

Prof. Gopalasamy Reuben Clements
Professor Gopalasamy Reuben Clements is an Associate Dean at Sunway University and a co-founder of Rimba, an NGO that has conducted research on the conservation of endangered species and ecosystems in West Malaysia. A group led by Professor Reuben collaborated with the Terengganu state government on the gazettement and preservation of what is now Kenyir State Park. His work has been published by the BBC, the New York Times and National Geographic.
